Went to go see Daughter on Wednesday night at the Troubadour in LA. They were so amazing and so friendly. I got two-third’s of them in Polaroid form and they signed them. Elena Torna is perfect. Her voice is unbelievably beautiful. I need to see them again soon.
Also, I’m all packed and ready to leave for Japan tomorrow. We are one of the few schools that get a day off and essentially sight see around Tokyo. Harajuku is the first stop! I’m so excited that I’m not even dreading the nonstop flight from LA to Tokyo. I’m pretty sure I’m the only person who likes riding planes.
Our itineraries are so organized, I know what I’m eating for every meal for the next ten days. YES. Japanese delicacies, yesss.
I just suck. Terrible. I’m doing people’s graduation pictures and I just- I feel so uninspired and terrible because I feel like these are complete crap. I need to step up my photography game. Do a creative workshop to get me going again or something. But I don’t even have any time before I leave.
I hope I get back into my groove when I get to Japan. Or else I’ll be really disappointed in my pictures for the rest of my life.
Holy moly. My flight to Japan changed to this Saturday! I can’t believe it! This is so nerve wracking and exciting! I have too much to do this week then.
I have to finish my final photo projects. Finish editing photoshoot Grad pictures. Finish my take home tests that I had to do early. Pack my suitcase! Exchange money for Yen! Buy my homestay family a gift! I’m stressing outttt! *shakes you by the shoulders* I’m getting nervoussss!!
It’s my birthday! I’m 20!! And my best friends still fight to call me first to wish me happy birthday on the phone.
